The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an English test.
It measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication.
IELTS widely used across the globe for assessing people aiming for:
• Study
• Migration or
• Work
IELTS Academic is for people applying for higher education or professional registration.<
IELTS General Training is for those migrating to Australia, Canada and the UK, or applying for secondary education, training programs and work experience in an English-speaking environment.
Both the above versions (ie. Academic & General Training) assessment of the four language skills:
Bridge Academy helps students to prepare for IELTS exam at its Muscat study center located at Ruwi.
The course starts with making the student aware of the TEST FORMAT, TYPES OF QUESTIONS & various GUIDELINES to be followed. It then progresses to the skill development phase. It is structured in an iterative process of Learn, Practice, Assess and then go back in the loop to learn
where gaps exist.
Different students have different levels of proficiency at the beginning in the four domains of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Depending on the student’s proficiency mapping at the beginning Bridge faculties prepare personalized plan for the student so that appropriate focus is given the domain(s) needing more attention than others. Thus the preparation becomes more effective and results become better.
